Senior Estimator
Location
Job Description
Seeking candidate who has a minimum of 15 years of experience in site, concrete, structural steel, general trades, and MEPF estimation for lump sum, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), and design/build projects.
Must be able to estimate all elements of a project and assemble completed bids to meet cleint requirements.
Conceptual estimating experience from in-progress designs and criteria is a must.
Prior experinece in value engineering as a team leader.
Estimating experience should include commercial, institutional construction (including but not limited to: K-12 educational facilities, offices buildings, medical facilities and multi-story commercial.
Proficient user of Timberline and Excel.
Excellent ability to read blueprints and solid understanding of project documents including plans, specifications, addendums, RFP's, and instruction to bidders.
Perform quantity surveys and take-offs on all CSI Divisions.
Proficient in soliciting, collecting and comprehending quotes from vendors and subcontractors and perform subcontractor bid tabulations and analysis.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
