Manages all project activities including, but not limited to, preliminary estimates, budgets, financial control, scheduling, coordination of construction activity, project closeout, and owner occupancy.
Job Summary: Manages all project activities including, but not limited to, preliminary estimates, budgets, financial control, scheduling, coordination of construction activity, project closeout, and owner occupancy for commercial projects ranging from 1 to 40 Million.
Duties/Responsibilities: Works closely with the architect/engineerCoordinates estimating, scheduling and safety effortsConducts pre-bid meetings.
Directs value engineeringPre-qualifies subcontractors and suppliers
Monitors purchasingSupervises and reviews shop drawings
Maintains regular communication with the fieldProvides monthly status reports to owner
Participates in all team meetings
Conducts weekly job site meetings Prepares monthly pay requests to owner/architect
Approves and submits monthly pay requests of subcontractors and suppliersPrepares purchase orders for owner tax savings Requests and maintains operation and maintenance manuals Partners with project coordinator to provide ongoing and accessible support
Responds to Request for Information and presents cost adjustmentsRequirements:
Minimum five (05) years of experience in construction related activities |
