| Job Description |
Reports to General Manager or VP. Directs and leads preconstruction team from start to finish. Projects up to $60MM in scope. Coordinates and participates in the preparation of estimates and budgets with the estimating department. Manages and is responsible for all the work of the estimators. Will communicate extensively with the operations staff during preparation of estimates and budgets utilizing GMP. Takes leadership role in the value engineering process.
Play a key role in the business development function by participating in proposal presentations. Work to strengthen existing client relationships.
Responsible for reviewing estimates and budgets, drawings, specifications, etc. Prepare or assist in the preparation of project schedules, based on input from client and architects and availability of manpower, equipment, and other resources.
Monitor the execution of permitting, subcontractor contracts, other documentation to support project schedules.
10 years minimum experience with estimating and/or managing large commercial/government construction projects. BS in Construction Management or Technology or Engineering preferred.
