| Job Description |
Most projects are commercial with a focus in retail projects along with healthcare and mixed-use.
Facilitate the resolution of concerns or issues raised by the reports between the developers and the consultants. Review construction documents for completeness accuracy prior to release to underwriting. Monitor progress of construction and evaluate the impact of change orders on the quality of construction and schedule delays. Understand and address all deviations from the plans and specifications submitted at closing. Review and approve construction draws and change orders per contract terms. Review engineers’, architects’ and subcontractors’ documents and cost updates and construction reports.
Report regularly to VP on all matters relating to active or future projects. Support new business development actively when required, and passively through excellent performance and client-centric communication with all involved parties. Multiple career paths including to operations and divisional management.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of construction estimating, monitoring or supervision/management. Experience renovating existing retail malls a plus. Degree almost mandatory. |
